This artwork depicts the Anatye (Bush Yam), a staple bush food found in Jeannie's country of Utopia - approximately 300 km North of Alice Springs.

The linear strokes represent the tubers of the plant and the dots and the dots symbolise the seeds. The Anatye grows underground with a shrub growing above ground, up to one metre high. It produces large pink flowers after the summer rain and tastes similar to a sweet potato.

Jeannie pays homage to the Anatye through her paintings and in ceremony encourages its continual rejuvenation.
